I think that Steve Bruce knows that we are not that fit and 1st half it was about reserving energy. 2nd half we bossed the game. 1 thing I didn't understand was playing Ross McCormack in the central role on his own eg like a target man kodija should of been more central. crossing it to 5 foot 8 ross McCormack didn't work. But we dug deep and got what we deserved! UTV AVFC.

Don't know what Bruce said at half time but it worked, didn't change formation or any personnel they just seemed to understand the plan more and come out flying. Mccormacks finishing was diabolical, on another day he had a hat-trick! Kodja looked worth every penny and I can't pick a player who had a bad game. Think we should stick to the 3 in midfield against the better teams in the league, for example our next game vs Brighton. Then for the teams we should be beating like today, keep the same formation/ plan as today. Showed really quality and looked brilliant second half! Two home wins in a row, unbeaten under Bruce and at home, UP THE VILLA!

Steve Bruce has done something that has been lacking for so long, a plan and man motivation! As you say excellent second half thanks to his half time talk no doubt. Shame for Ross Mc in a situation where finds himself less of the focus not just of attention but play too. Give him a goal or two and he will come good. All today were excellent, Adomah's first touch was spot on and just gets better, my doubts about Amavi lacking match practice and strength are now history as he goes from strength to strength. Baker's head is a magnet and great with Chester, Hutton miss placed crosses can be off set by his immense effort today! Excellent result and to turn around 1 nil position will do no end of good for confidence! Viva Bruce Revolution VTID.
