Our best player pre-season was de-laet
I know he missed the first 2 games through suspension but why is he not in contention now?,
Elmo is always his preferred choice no matter how well or crap he plays,
De-laet has played at c/ back at other clubs so he must be worth a try,
As for the goalie situation I will Give this guy the benefit of doubt a little longer but the signs are not good at moment,
He looks so shaky and little wonder the defenders can't trust him,
And to think bruce said he has been following him for 4 years?

Bob mate, the keeper is fighting to keep his place in the side and is nervous.
You say the defenders can`t trust him, maybe he can`t trust his defence, we are very shaky at times and prone to lapses in concentration, my example being Jedinak.
He only has a couple of games under his belt and needs time, I wonder how long it would take you or me to settle in Norway, given the kind of scrutiny he is under.
Make a mistake as a keeper and it`s in the net, a mistake anywhere else on the pitch and you have some time to correct it.
Just remember we were slating Grealish two years ago. And he was more or less born at villa park.

Perhaps I am being a little off track with the goalie problem.
But with gollina we had the same problem there,
He was shipped out little before time,
My main problem is with players played out of position and even now bruce does not now his best first 11,
Pre-season he played 352 but that has being binned now,
I admire bruce with his personal problems this year I just don't think he does tactics at all well,

That’s a totally different matter mate.
I have made no secret of my feelings about Bruce, but like I said yesterday we have said it all before and keep saying it.
If we are to go forward again we need new ideas soon.
Bruce has used his ideas up, and I say it again if our new people can`t see it we will be in trouble yet again.
And no I am not complaining about our new owners, I am just saying, surely they can see the problem.

As I said earlier post when a new c/ e comes in things will happen if we hit poor form,
Bruce could well be on borrowed time then.

Think we should be looking at 3-5-2 to be honest as it suits this league, but has Brucie got the balls to play as he did in preseason

I also think the keeper needs to be backed . I remember Johnstone coming in and being poor to begin with .

Bruce needs to be consistent with both his team and formation, get the ball passed on the deck and quicker

For me with all the players we have I would be going as follows

Nyland

Hutton Chester Tuanzebe

Thor

De laet McGinn Hourihane Green

Grealish

Kodjia

I would be looking at offloading uncle Albert as he is just off the pace and has been for 6 months. I would also be putting in a loan bid to buy for Marcus Maddison. And loan deals for Abraham also the left back Targett from Southampton has been mentioned had a great season with Fulham in the championship so why not

I’m sick and tired of seeing Whelan and Jedinak playing . Their legs have gone that’s all there is too it.

TIme for a change of tactics and footballing style Brucie, because If don’t or can’t I don’t see the new owners standing for any 💩. Look how they told levy to do one over super jack

100% agree kenn.
I have always said 352 was the way forward for us,
We did play this formation pre-season then all was changed for the championship.
Just don't get Bruce's mindset into our play,
He does play players out of position and for me makes to many changes from game to game,
I also want Jedi and Whelan out of the squad but bruce does like his experienced players in there.

I think that when this new c/ e comes in end of month by all accounts that's when you will see some action against bruce if the performances stay the same,
I know pointswise we are on track averaging 2 points a game,
But we have been lucky not to have lost all them games,
I really want bruce to succeed but I can only say what I see on the pitch.

Wot are peoples thoughts an davis, for me we did better with him in the team last season, when davis is fit we could try davis up top with rhm just off his shoulder, davis is good he just needs to add goals, but heskey didn't score that many an had loads of caps for eng because he's a team player like davis.
