Not sure what you fella`s think, but I would move Kodjia out.
Not the team player we need at VP, I think Deano can see he is a glory hunter.
He is a one trick pony, and contributes very little towards team efforts.
Yes he had one good season for us but his selfishness became his loss.
Surely Hogan plus Kodjia would be a starting point for Maupay.

Dave, couldn't agree more, he couldn't cut it in the championship, not a prayer he can step up in the prem. I am sure everything is in hand because what we currently have up front is nowhere near enough to cope in the prem. I think a lot of our signings, which is usually the case in the transfer window will come late, which is not ideal, as we need a good start to the season. In Deano we trust however he doesn't have a magic wand and things are not going to be easy.

Totally agree Dave

I think I have rattled on about Maupay for what seems like an eternity to be honest .

Wesley, Maupay and Davies as an understudy would be enough if backed up by El Ghazi, jack and maybe Benrahma.

Brentford was 20million for Maupay . I would offer hogan, Kodjia and 10million all day long.

Off the bench he saved us more than once last year, with all the players already gone out and many more to come in, probably worth keeping him around until at least January, already got to change enough.

I am not talking about last year chris, every player had their moment last year but that does not mean we should keep them, they have done what was required of them.
We need to improve, and by replacing Kodjia with Maupay I feel we would be doing that by a country mile.

I think Kenn has hit it spot on, every one of them are team players.

I agree Dave but he’s a big character in the dressing room it seems, won’t fetch a big fee so keeping him around till jan or next summer might be worth it if it’s going to keep that camaraderie from last season going.
