Any suggestions on a new goal keeper? Guzan is a weak link. Doesn't anyone else think so.

Sherwood agrees with you Irishvilla and he is the one that counts, I don't know who he intends as a replacement though. ?

Casper Smiechel, wouldn't be cheap though, missed out big time with Begovic, he's going to rot at Chelski, such a waste of a top class keeper

Wouldn't surprise me if Sherwood bid all the money he had at his disposal for Begovic at the time knowing that it wouldn't be enough but to let him know we were interested. If Villa was ever in his mind he would have held off until more news on the takeover had broken or some sales had gone through. So can't really say we missed out if was never interested. Keeper is a difficult position really - I personally am happy with Guzan but a lot of people aren't. I'm not sure who we could realistically get that's significantly better than Guzan that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I would much rather we put the cash into strikers.
