Toney banned for 8 months for betting. Not allowed to play again until 17 January, 2024. Should we wait until the January window to sign him?

Buy him now.
Loan him out abroad til Jan, as ban only relates to FA/Premier league games.
That way get a bit of cash in for the loan and also keep him match fit.
