Hi Guys,
January gone and the window is closed till the summer.
Regardless of who was bought, do you think that we had a satisfactory window.
Players in or out, no names.
From 1 to 10 how do you see the window, 1 being awful 10 being excellent?

It’s difficult to gauge TOV, if we get the players Emery wants in the summer then I would gauge the window as a success in that we have started the process offloading players who we clearly no longer want, however if we don't then who knows! So I will edge my bets and give it a 5. But the summer will be big for the club and I think if Emery’s ambition is to be matched we are probably going to have to smash our existing transfer record two or three times to get the players he wants into the club

Im giving it 3. our bench is 2 weak, for the past few seasons we have being saying “oh this is a season for building” truth is no manager is getting the chance to build anything cause they will be sacked when still in the early stages of each managers build/plan for the future.
We needed a striker and a winger and we got an untested kid and an average at best injured player who didn’t do much last time out. time will tell I guess.

TOV I'd give it a 7. We could do with a couple for sure but at least we didn't throw good money after bad. Ue has shown he can get results with what he's got and with Carlos, mcginn and traore coming back along with Duran I think we'll be ok for top 12. He's shipped out some deadwood although I'd rather have kept sanson than coutinio. Summer is when a real rebuild can start

Personally, I think that this transfer window was a good 7. Dead wood gone. Ings wanted to go, no point in keeping an unhappy player. No panic buys and paying over the odds. There’s a pretty good squad there and if needed, let’s see how good these kids (not on loan) are - you never know a real gem could be there. Let’s face it, look at the wasted millions spent in previous windows. I think this could be a refreshing change with big spends in the summer. Not expecting a European place this year, but not expecting a relegation battle either which is a change. UTV

I'm pleased that Hause and Traoré have come back to Villa as I still rate them and I think that they should play more games when they're fit. I'm also happy that Aston Villa signed Moreno and Durán and sold Ings. I'd say 5/10.
