Still smarting from yesterday's debacle, decided to look at the most common reasons for yesterday's failure on social media. If you cut out the idiots much of what i read was, in my opinion pretty accurate. Lack of fight, poor tactics, diabolical attacking threat and total lack of quality. Many provided statistics with and without Mings, without Mings we are a poorer side, the stats tend to confirm this fact. We will never know but its possible he would have prevented the goals from the two set pieces. If gerrard wss trying to send a message, stripping him from the captaincy and dropping him yesterday, this backfired dramatically. I just wonder if there is a problem with Gerrards style in the dressing room, this could account for yesterday dismal show. So whilst we see Mings and Buendia on the bench i personally will continue to criticise Gerrard. I still don't think we have premier league quality in midfield and the same goes for our attack. So with the points i have raised about morale, team selection, lack of quality, i think we are in for a real bumpy ride, until shortcomings are addressed and quick.

Mings and Buendia should definitely play, Ings and Watkins are premier league quality as their records prove. It's the service that they get isn't quite right. Kamara is a good player, Luiz is a good player and so is McGinn. Been watching all or nothing Arsenal on prime. Arteta delivers his messages really well and is constantly thinking of things to do differently to engage his players and prepare them. Wonder what Gerrard does.
