Sorry to hear that Colin Gibson had been diagnosed with early-onset dementia. Key member of the team that won the 80-81 league and all-round good bloke. I know he'll fight it hard, but sad to hear all the same

Agree Menace a lot of our old players have got it Sid, Dixie and now Gibbo it is such a shame. More and more footballers are succumbing to this dreadful disease the PFA and Premier League need to do something positive to help these players rather than worrying about falling foul of some legal challenge around vicarious liability there is enough money sloshing around in football to provide some support for all these guys.
