Still being linked with Emile Smith Rowe in a potential player-plus-cash deal with Dougie moving the other way. Although Dougie has tailed off a bit lately (apart from the winning penalty obviously) I'm not sure this would give us any significant advantage.

I posted a month or so ago that Arsenal are confident of landing Dougie either in January or the summer. If it’s January then the only way Arsenal can do it is with a player swap deal and apparently the are willing to offer us a choice of ESR, Nketiah, Nelson, Tierney to name but a few. If it’s cash then the deal won’t be done until the summer.

I'm more interested in the firepower upfront.

It's a dream signing but.

As of today Liverpool and one Saudi team has asked the availablity of a certain PSG player.

Wonder what (except the money) would it take to get him to join (and he's on free now) .

Maybe the Mighty Emery who personally visited him and got him to join PSG instead of Madrid?

Mbappe does speak quite highly of Unai.

Imagine Mbappe at the Villa ?

Arsenal don’t have the funds for either Dougie or Toney. Player swaps the only option for them so not particularly attractive offer.

I love your ambition Ads. It’s not completely out of the question but it may just be as likely as my upcoming marriage to Julia Roberts ?

Can I have an invite to the reception?

I don't see Dougie going anywhere if I'm honest or any other key players, Unai won't want to sell and I'm not so sure Dougie would want the move either, Villa are chasing a top four place and a possible title push so they will likely strengthen the squad, we are already very well positioned in the league so why would players want to leave, Villa are going places under Emery that is for sure and our owners ambition is huge.
