Looks like hayden, illing jnr, and barrencha, louie barry will be sold aswell, little bit annoyed that hayden hasn't had a chance he's a good young player, that the only fault i can say about unai is that he doesn't play our youth, look at the reserves and u18s doing really good were supposed to have 1 of the best accadamies and when was the last player to break through, i want to see atleast a couple break into the squad nxt season and get atleast 10 mins

So I get what your saying but at the end of the day if we need to raise money would you rather sell one of our star players plus the likes of Barrenchea, Illing Junior, Kesler Hayden or two stars? Ideally you wouldn’t want to do either but sadly PSR is having a major impact on us.

Bogarde broke through this year. Emery brought Jaden back and gave him a chance. Duran played plenty of minutes. Ramsey Onana Rodgers and Maatsen all 23 and under and are heavily involved. I'm sure if our youth are good enough Emery will play them

Jonny, this is the world we're in. All clubs are trying to do it. Having a youngster on the books from a very young age and then selling them is 100% profit to the bottom line. Grealish and Palmer are the obvious examples and I'm sure there are more.

Looking at the U18s I would say that there could be a significant revenue stream for the club over the next 2 - 3 years.
It would be great to benefit from them playing for the 1st team but PSR has caused this and this loophole is the only way for us to compete especially as Villa Park is c15-20k short of some other clubs capacities which significantly reduces our income.
Sorry to talk about ££££ but that's what football is about now.
