Well we all expected Delph, Benteke and Vlaar to be gone by the time the new season begins so as long as we continue to buy new players and replace those that leave with quality players then it's all good. Better off without a player who harbours false loyalty and there is plenty of talent to replace him so let's see what the next couple of weeks brings. :-)

Im guessing our captain will be gabby, longest serving player in the villa squad, he's villa through and through. Its either him or ciaran clark i would think.

Then I would go for Clark as Villa's new captain. For me, he is the right choice.

And I would keep Cole and Senderos as substitutes. After all, they were signed for free and they have good amount of experience.

But do we all agree that the rest, who are Steer, N'Zogbia, Bennett, Cissokho and Hutton we should get rid of?
