Just read an article regarding the rumours that were around regarding SJM moving on. at the beginning of the season.Sunday should have proved d to everyone that Mcginn is part of the fabric of Aston Villa and should be given a life contract. Once his playing days are in their twilight he should be a valuable coach, ambassador and legend, like many others, Brian Little, Gary Shaw, Alan Macanally, Ian Taylor the list is endless.

Well said. Suspect he'll be up to Celtic for a season or two before he retires, but he should be welcomed back with open arms in some capactiy once he hangs up his boots.
Exactly the sort of character and playing style fans can associate with and the type of player you need when things aren't all rosey. That volley against Sheff Weds is still in my top 5 Villa goals of all time.
