Ed's. Now Isak has come out and basically aid he wants to move, has he missed the boat as far as Liverpool are concerned now they have signed Etitike? Or do Liverpool still have a chance of landing him? Going back a long time when Arsenal signed Clive Allen from QPR for over a million, he never played a competitive game for them and was used to land Arsenal's real target Kenny Sanson who was at Crystal Palace at the time and the rest as they say is history. Given Newcastle were interested in Etitike as well I wonder whether Liverpool would offer him as part of a package to land Isak who I think is the most complete forward in the Premiership. With Wirtz and Isak added to your side I would definitely make you favourites to retain your title.

{Ed001's Note - Liverpool wanted both and looks like they are getting both. Hugo is not being used in any way as he can play on the left as well and Diaz wants out. So there is plenty of room for both, especially as there are so many games and Isak's minutes have to be carefully managed. Liverpool have been trying to get Newcastle to take Nunez in part ex though. Ekitike is a Man Utd fan but rejected them and then told Frankfurt he only wanted to join Liverpool, hence the quick deal. There is no way he will go to Newcastle.}

Well if you get both I think I’ll have a few quid on you for the title. Wirtz and Isak are quality and Etitike doesn’t look too shabby on the Bundesliga highlights I have seen. Add Frimpong and Kerkez into the mix and you are looking pretty formidable. Are you still hopeful of Guehi as well?

I don't like Guehi much but it does look like he will come in. Better than Quansah though, so he is an upgrade I guess
