I must say I was feeling slightly nervous about the Adebayor signing rumour, however with new developments and a potential loan move rather, I think it makes sense. Considering we have limited funds it is more low risk.

If Ade is shite, TS sherwood can ship him back and try bring in someone else (Maybe in Jan). If we sign an untested foreign striker (Which seems to be all we can afford) if it doesn't work out we are stuck with another long term contract and wages.

But if TS does get some magic out of him I will be well happy, maybe even guide his inexperienced african counterpart Ayew.
(Not that Ade seems like a mentoor) but hey it could work out.

I can't see it as a risk.
He is a proven prem goal scorer. On his day, Defo one of best strikers in the league.
People say he is a bad influence, why?? Because he earns a high wage, which a great deal of he sends home to his home village to help there, or because he feels, once offered this contract, he is with in his rights to sit in it??

I agree the money these guys earn is obscene, but that is the people who pay, not the guys who takes it home's fault.

The 'amazing' business man levy (?) gave him the contract!

If he comes, scores 20+ goals, I'll worship him!!
I bet he will get more goals than Big Ben.

I think he will get more goals than en as well Flackie, if it happens I hope he plays Ayew as a strike partner or just behind Ade.
I am getting very excited about our squad and if the rumours are true about Jordan Veretout we will have filled any gaps caused by Delph and Ben.
Timmy boy is doing just fine, waiting to see who is next ???

I'll be straight down the bookies with that bet once he signs. I think it is a shrewd move with adebayor. This French midfielder looks very good too. Looking up boys.
