Several media sources in Spain are reporting Villa are close to signing Left Back Antonio Luna.

News has broke over in Spain via a number of media sources including Vavel, Orgullodenervion, Eldesmarque. All sources are implying that the 22 year old left back will leave Sevilla after the clubs agreed a fee for two million euros.

1.) Can't see this guy making the grade. I want Aaron cresswell he's sound at defending and deserves a shot at the prem

2.) As long as he's not as of a liability as Bennett

3.) I think having another left back might just push Bennett on to better things even if Luna doesn't play.

4.) It seems PL has faith in Bennett, hopefully this will spur him on, I hope all the supporters get behind him rather than on his back this season, he's just a kid, actually they all are!

Aston Villa set to offload both Ireland to stoke and Bent to Fulham/QPR. The villains also will sign Luke Murphy and Aaron Cresswell once we seal contracts with the likes of Benteke/Weimann/Lowton.

The new kit to be revealed on the 14th June.

why do we need experience to finish mid-table? Surely you would need experience to stay in the league in a relagation scrap, but we did it without any, just think if we would of let them 2 goal leads slip we would if been mid-table anyway

1.) Perhaps with a little experience in the middle of the pitch we would have not given up 2 goal leads. We had no one to hold the ball, no one too guide the youngsters. No matter what job you are doing there is always someone to look for when things are not going the right way.

Crazy few week for Aston Villa Football Club, very exciting season ahead. Our new 2013/14 kit has been revealed, and we have officially signed 3 players, with one player very close to putting pen to paper. Also 3 players have signed new contracts, Weimann, Baker and Johnson Aleksander Tonev joined Aston Villa 5 days ago after recommendation from former internationally team mate, Stan Petrov.
Today, we have also signed Denmark international defender Jores Okore and Netherlands Under-21 midfielder Leandro Bacuna. With Nicklas Helenius on the verge to signing in the next few days, the future is very exciting. UTV.

The young Danish has scored 4 goals in 11 appearances for his under 21 squad, and is known as the 'new ibrahimovic'. PL knows a good player when he sees one, especially youth, trust in PL. UTV.

people who say benteke is worth no more then 10mil because he needs to prove himself before big clubs buy him? So then why have Manchester units gone and signed zaha for 15m when he hasn't even proved himself in the prem, you lot talk nonsense!
