Link?
Not seeing it anywhere either.
Nice to have options, but confused by him AND adebayor. Kozak has looked good in pre season, worry he won't get a game with these 2 and Ayew in.
Maybe Ayew will be played wide right?

LeTa give it a go . One season of berba and adebayor could be exciting. On top a newly fit kozak Plus ayew . Equals, to me at least, the best striking option we have had in years. Having said that we have a good track record of turning the worst out of these players (there you go I'm a villa fan)

Well I hope Adebayor is announced today, with her a I think a 1 season pay as you play deal would be good n i'd like gestede to come in but at the min the min I see ayew struggling to get game time

Burnley will sign Nathan Baker from Aston Villa. Burnley are hoping to have the deal finalised before Saturdays friendly against Bradford.

I think it's a shame to lose baker, and wish him well.
Might not be best at reading a game, but both he and Clarke would happily put their heads where it hurts to try to stop a goal. Might not be the most cultured defender, but one if the bravest.

Sad to see Nathan 'man of Glass' Baker leave. Shame were not more LFC away man of match memories. I thought he could be another Southgate eventually except the injuries have held him back. Good luck to the lad and hope he still gets to see Worcester Warriors from Lancashire.

Nantes have NOT accepted Leicester`s bid for Veretout.
Their president is still stating that Villa should stop haggling over parts of the deal, and he will pull the plug if it continues.
Nantes president seems to me to be a very honourable man, and should be admired for his loyalty to the player, by not standing in his way over the move.

Florian Thauvin subject of an €18m bid from Aston Villa, but player rejects move. Wants to remain at Marseille

He'd be an excellent signing. Staring to wonder if TS isn't the next Wenger, not from a success perspective, but from the point that we're going to be a French team.

Reports villa didn't even bid for him, all paper talk

Apparently we spoke to his representatives and the player said he wasn't interested so no bid was placed. At least it shows TS is still looking and there's money there to spend

Reports in French media suggest that Veretout is still set to join Villa and flying in today for talks. Links to Leicester are due to Villa haggling over the final few details with the chairman of Veretout's current club stating that if Villa do not agree the deal tonight, it may well open up the door for Leicester or another club.

Yeh, I have been reading this as well DBS, we need to learn when conducting ourselves over transfers that when we are presented with a good deal to shut up and make it happen.
We have the chance of obtaining a very good player for peanuts in todays market, I say shut up and stop haggling Villa, get the deal over the line or rue the consequences.
We have lost players for decades because of a quid hear and a quid there, Deadly Doug was the master at it, learn from it.
We are building a new squad why loose an obvious target because of minor issues.

Exactly villadave, let's hope Villa have learned their lesson and can get this one over the line!
Generally speaking, i like what Sherwood is doing with the squad in terms of replacing 'deadwood' for what hopefully turns out to be higher calibre players. Still think we need two or three proven players who can hit the ground running (CB, CM and a number 9) and improve our starting eleven, but that might just be me being greedy after all of the recent activity.

I think you’re a bit like me DBS, we are like kids in a sweet shop at the moment with all this activity going on, we want everything on show.
Its great though and makes us all feel good.

jb19, I remember us losing Keane to Coventry too, over half a million. Also, apparently we lost Falcao to Porto over some other similarly stupid number, I think it was we decided he wasn't worth 5 million pounds.
