reading the posts i gather the general feeling is big ek will be getting around 25 mil poss going to 35 if downing goes i think this is a tight buget personaliy but i also believe that if big ek can bring hamoney back to the dressing room ireland, beye, collins, dunne, warnock possibly reo-coker and maybe even carew will be like having 5-7 new signings id even go and make dunne capt(big call i know)but don't forget 2 seasons ago we had the forth best def in the league and the youngsters coming in are of top notch so i don't think massive changes will be made i would look to bring in a keeper playmaking mid fielder another winger and a young hunger striker id like to see line up as below playing 4 3 3

As much as every Villa fan out there wishes this was true i can't see it happening and for only 14 million when we sold him for 24 million they would at least want 18 million to re-coupe some of the difference

The goalkeeper targets are
Given- He shouldnt want to stay at city where he will be behind Hart.
Green- Destined to leave even though IMO he is championship standard.
Foster- Should leave but is prone to a calamity or two.
Camp- Looks solid enough for club and country, but its a big step up from Forest to Villa as a starting keeper.
Al Habsi- Most likely to be sold with Wigan trying to get him for cheaper than his 4m asking price, not bad looked decent enough at them last season.
Mcgregor- Looks good but Rangers don't want to lose him and the SPL is a far poorer standard than the Premier League.
Heres hoping for Given.
