With all the rumours that benteke wants out i say let him go if he gives the money to sherwood to spend it will make the team stronger as a whole.
Begovic - 9mill
Amavi - 8.5 mill
Gueye - 9mil
Austin - 15 mill
Adebayor - 2 mill
43.5 mil spent and a better team as a whole.
I would also go in for glen johnson on a free would help solid up the back line.

He plays well for a new manager, and this is the key part, for a short while and then reverts back to be a pain in the backside
Sherwood was only manager at Spurs for a short time
Come on guys, this isn't difficult.
Adebayor would be a dreadful acquisition

We'll that was another poor performance from villa tonight worrying with spurs, west ham and Southampton next can't see us getting any points till burnley at the end of next month. Lambert seems to not have a clue what he's doing any more but Lerner gave him a new contract so looks like we are stuck with him !!!!

Lerner only wants to sell the club to someone that can take villa further that's why it has not sold straight away. It is common knowledge that there are 3 intrested partys and one prefered buyer who is in talks now. If there is a non discloser agreement why would an ex player know about it you prefer to listen to an ex player who knows as much as the people on hear !!!
