It seems to me that Villa fans, to a large extent, have divided themselves into 2 camps. Those who think our ills are due to a disinterested chairman and his budgetary constraints or a poor manager who does not seem to know what he is doing.
The truth is, we are in the unfortunate position of having both

Here here mendex. I totally agree. If lerner won't sell he needs to stump up big this summer but I've still got the feeling we will be sold off by then. I'm sure of it tbh. Question is will Pl still be here next season

I agree we are a very poor side the majority of the time, however we'll prop get a result at Cardiff as they in a worse state that than us. We all hope that we will stay up and probably will be by the skin of our teeth! The best we can hope for is this potential takeover, if not we are going to have to accept this style of play and results for years to come. AGD, VTID!

so, yet another load of absolute garbage in front of our own faithful, I want to hear thoughts from all fans as to what they see to be our problems and whether or not they think we will go down. please, everybody, tell us what is going on?

Our problem is the players we have got are not good enough and the manager isn't good enough. the tactics just aren't there and while teams like palace, hull, sunderland anf others are picking up points. we are not. I hate to say it but I wouldn't be suprised if we go down. its going to be a nevous end of season AGAIN

Midfield isn't good enough but defensively we have been quite unlucky with okore being out for the season when he was one of our main signings, Luna not working out and Clara getting injured a lot. Saying that we are a much much better team with Clara in it and I believe he is our most essential player (not benteke like most people think). I do think with a fully fit team we could compete when we have:
Guzan
Lowton vlaar okore Bertrand
Westwood delph kea (need someone else there a lot of people talking of Gardner)
Nzogbia (behind)
Benteke Agbonlahor
That is a strong team and we also have players like grealish coming through for next year and with a bit of luck that top midfielder we need. I don't think we will go down because there are far worse teams than us and we don't have the hardest of games to end with

Holt has asked to return to Wigan, Lambert promised him Hoolahan would be joining, that's the only reason Holt joined Villa, expect him gone by the end of the week
