I tell you what I'm really getting frustrated with all this statement crap. People are saying that he may just come out and say that we're up for sale. I hope not as I'll be so pissed off as you don't have to keep us all waiting to say that.
Also if lambert is telling the truth and he has no idea what's going on then I also think that's wrong. As poor a job as he's done I think lerner should have a tiny bit of respect and at least keep him somewhat in the loop!
I just hope that the takeover is getting finalised and that's why no statement has come out yet as they are waiting for it to be official.
We are safe now so if it was just an "up for sale" message it should be out by now. Still keeping my fingers crossed for something special to happen

Personally, I don't believe that Villa would be improved in any way by a player who was a flop at Man. Utd --Djemba Djemba anyone -- and who has also been a flop at Newcastle.
