Seriously, what is going on at Villa Park. I feel it is now getting beyond a joke. Roy Keane as PL's number 2? REALLY! Does anyone believe he would work below Lambert for a start, because I don't. Is this yet another cover up. Possibly so. Why would Villa appoint Roy Keane when a new owner would more than likely want to bring in his own team and staff of his own choice. Are Villa already sold? Have they actually appointed Keane as a replacement for Lambert but as usual do not want to make it official. Nothing makes sense that;s for sure. I can't keep up with whatever is going on at Villa Park any more. All I will say is 'lose all of the cloak and dagger stuff Randy and just be honest for once' We as supporters at least deserve that.

Am I correct in saying that PL does not coach the players, also if appointed Roy K does not coach either.

Have seen this in one of the papers today, if this is the case who the hell is going to coach a clueless squad.

Well lads my thoughts seem to be confirmed, thank you as well Mendax & villajk.

I would like to hear other posters thoughts on this one as well, it seems we are a ship without a rudder.

Syd Cowans could show us a couple of ideas but after the two guys got sacked there have been limited coaching opportunities. Keane is using us for his future development as a manager/coach. His last attempts as manager have been glorious failures and he has to start again somewhere. So little real news coming out of VP that we are all trying to work out what is going on. Scrooge must go ASAP.

Sid was a smashing player for us and had undoubted talent, but to be honest we need more than a couple of ideas as you put it.

We need a proven coach with more than one idea on how the game should be played.

I would welcome someone like Glen Hoddle with open arms, if he was allowed to coach our side as he wanted we would definitely become more on the eye.
