Rio Ferdinand? What do people think, going for another free player, shows lack of any investment in real talent? Personally I think he is a long way past his best, and clearly has his mind in interest other than football these days, a 'celebrity footballer' the worse kind of footballer, not welcome at Villa Park.

Well spent a lot of time over last wheel looking through internet for rumours regarding takeover and player ( broken leg so have nothing else to do). And seems RL has reduced his price to £150m now and is looking to Far East for buyer, Ellison name still mentioned but can't see that happening especially as a partnership with Arison. It seems that despite what rumours are saying PL and co are not letting anything out of the bag, my belief is if we are sold it will be quick to go through. Player rumours are Ameobi ( looks like off to states tho) and Shaun Wright Philips although again states looks more certain to team up with his brother or off to West Ham. Aaron Cresswell name seems to be floating around again as does Diame from West Ham. Can you imagine though the rumours King Villa would be posting if Ellison did buy us? Messi and Ronaldo would be flying in next week lol.
