People say villa fans are fickle. Sure we are its the truth every football team has ficlke fans. However liverpool fans take the p*ss when it comes to who they are linked with. NEWSFLASH YOU IDIOTS you aint in the champions league anymore and you aint a big club. Sure villa base their reputation on our history but my god do you scousers milk it. YOU WONT SIGN CLASS PLAYERS COS OF YOUR HISTORY. If Downing goes then so be it because as much as it pains me to say it I reckon liverpool will finish higher than us for a start (due to the fact that mcleish has made no signings and is guaranteed to relegate us). Fair point we are a better team than Birmingham but I just cannot believe we haven't even put a bid on a player yet when two of our prize assets are being sold off. Matter of time before Bent wants out i think too (i know he said he wants to say but that'll change when he won't be scoring like he was towards the end of last season because he's got no service. Coming from a man city fan, liverpool are a hell of alot better than villa and from tottenham looking like losing there top players same with arsenal wouldn't be shocked if liverpool did grab 4th next year after all they picked up the 2nd most points after chelsea from feb to may last season.

To the city fan. I didn't mean that liverpool werent a better team than us they clearly are BUT i meant that the don't hold as much prestige as the would of 3 or 4 years ago when they were challenging for the title.
