Not there today as I was busy. but to say I was shocked is an understatement. But I say again that PL cannot take all the blame for what happens on the pitch, the players are out there not PL. We have no back up when things go wrong, the players don't seem to have intelligence and don't react to the opposition. Stoke game is an example, they started knocking the ball about and the team were lost. they are not a young team as people keep saying, they are an inexperienced group that are not learning. A few weeks back I did my own assessment of points that we would get ad came up with 35 by the end of the season. Our only hope is that the bottom 4 continue as they have all season and generally drop points. If they don't then we will be in the s. t

Reality check to Villa fans, if you don't win another game this season you could be relegated.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we will stay up this season mainly because of the failings of other teams around us, and not our own performances.
I said a couple of weeks ago I felt we would amass 42 points, but after the result yesterday I think it will be more like 37-38, having looked at other fixtures for teams around us I think we will finish about 15th in the table the same as last year but with fewer points.
I think it will be three from Cardiff, Sunderland Norwich & Fulham going down.
Norwich and Sunderland have a real tough run in.

Yep have to agree Dave, 37 points looks like the magic number based on the relegation contenders down there.

Theres such a gulf in class from the top 8 to the rest of the league, only way I can see us getting back up there is with hefty investment (55/60mill) would be my guesstimate. let's be fair we'll only get half of that if we'r lucky!

We don't need a reality check, we know the dangers. the fact that those beneath us have a more difficult run in that keeps us going.

Why are people calling for Lambert to be sacked? I know we are under performing but every team goes through a point like that during there season. Even if he was sacked who would take over. We aren't in a bad position it's just that we missed a few key players today but the team will re group and push to finish as high as they possibly can. I remember after the Chelsea game some people were saying how good Lambert is as a manager. Now after a couple of losses ever one forgets about that.

All the crap between Norwich and Villa fans a short time ago is now a joke, with both sets of fans fed up to the teeth with the managers they have, why not have a swap round, P L still better than clueless C H, Hope he is gone by next week when we have our go at Fulham, good luck for the rest of this season.

1. Where was Delph today? Hopefully he ain't injured.
2. Grant Holt and Matthew Lowton played superb today.
3. Where has Weimann been all season not just today.
4. At the moment Baker has no confidence within himself.
5. If you want the team to win it might help to not get on there backs as soon as they conciede. As soon as the goal went in everyone started to boo the team and that isn't really going to give them any confidence. Before the goal went in and we were passing it about no one cared. But that was a complete different story as soon as they scored. Every Villa fan needs to get behind the team and support them not blame them. If we had got behind the team today they might of played better. And don't boo them off no matter how bad they have played in the first half.

PL must be sacked asap, we make Fulham look great could go on but really fed up

It was funny listening to a Fulham fan on 606 saying how well they played and believing they would now get out of it. I was so tempted to ring up and remind him that beating us is no great achievement
How tragic a sentiment is that?
I haven't listened to any post mach interviews with Lambert as I have a decent TV and a lovely DAB radio which I don't want to have to replace!
