Saw Sid Cowans in an old boys match couple of seasons ago - still bossing the game, winning the ball and stroking it around like the genius he was. Anyone else think its worth a punt to get him to pull on his boots for one last hurrah and be that midfield maestro we need?
And I also saw Ken McNaught commenting recently... Villa man - but they are words Ken - just words - get your boots on and help save us ffs.

If dunne is fit I would move ciaran Clark into holding midfield role I know we are staring down the barrel but so are others pardew bought half of France who says that's going to work I peronally think we will turn it around maybe my heart speaking also the same people slagging Lerner were probably his biggest fans when he took over from doug so let's take a reality check them kids will come good we need more heart and some luck then might hear some positive things on here and by the way I follow villa home and away so I think I have a right to my say up the villa

I agree Clark would be better used in the Petrov/Barry role, He played well their for Mcleish.
And hopefully Dunne Vlaar and Baker at the back can sort the leaky defense on set pieces
