Do you think we'll get a couple of players in before Thursday with Hutton and Warnock of our wage bill if they leave ?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

It will leave us with money to spend on wages so we will only bring in players on loan. If we bring players in on loan they have to have experience.

I have heard, I know it has been around for some time, the Reo Coker is coming back. No other club wants him. Do we?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I thought he was quite good last time he was here, I for one would welcome him back

I bet you wish you had mon back now anyway hope you win on tuesday

Martin O'neill is largely to blame for us being on this mess mate !
He's been the most overrated British manager I can ever remember
Kick and rush football and not a clue about spotting talent. I'd rather go down than have him back

Yeah because O'Neil is responsible for the accounting at a club. I'm sure he controls the balance sheet and knows what a club can afford in terms of wages and transfer fees. And I wouldn't be too disparaging of Cuellar considering how your defense looks without him this season

Agree0 Disagree1

Pretty sure O'neil was gone when Downing and Young left. He also quit because the sold Milner. SO who sold your outstanding talent. Your chairman

Agree2 Disagree2

All the top players that where sold were because they where greedy and wanted more money

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the comment above, if a manager is told he had x amount of money to spend he will spend it, its the chairman and his financial staff who have failed, MON gave us Young, Milner, Downing, all sold for a profit whilst getting the best out of, Gabby, Barry, Dunne, Collins, Warnock along with the best football seen at vp for a long time, he never failed us it was the hieracy above him releasing the funds then needing it back suddenly when offers came in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's get a few facts together here.
1. R.L did not force the sale of Milner.

2. MON left the club as RL said no to more signings as MON was asking for more players.RL told him to get rid of the high earners that he bought in for big money, I, e roecoker, heskey, cueller, knight, routledge, Delph plus others that he bought but was not playing. Lerner basically said he had funded him to the tune of £120 mil yet you want more and rarely play them.

3. Following this RL received a phone call while the other side of the pond from Liverpools c.e.o the year prior to MON s departure to clarify that MON had agreed in principle to become the new manager of Liverpool. RL flew straight to V.P to get MON to change his mind stating that he had backed everything MON had done at the club involving signings, contracts and the running of the club. RL soon after this started to take more control off Mon with the running of the club, contracts, signings now out of his duties this is when MON started throwing his toys out the pram in his last season with us, along with being told to sell his bad buys before signings were made he quit a 5 days before the new season starts.

These are the facts of the great MON tenure and to a degree I can understand RL actions since this period. He now fails to trust anyone with the whole running of the club as he did then, but sadly now is the time we need heavy investment but can't see it coming.

So to the obvious Sunderland fan who posted above, MON isn't god we are mainly where we are now because of him. You just want to hope he does not have full control of your club. Ask yourself this is there any of his signings not playing all the time, do you always play with players out of position and do you think the players he buys are over priced?

Agree1 Disagree0

If every part of the above post is true, I am in total agreement. VILLA TILL I DIE!

Well said
I wish people would stop saying how great the football was under O'neill as well. We were 3-4 additional passes away (per game) from being Stoke

We need to sign a strong & experience defensive mid and the same in defence. Why don't we put a bid in for Scott dann he would only cost about £2m. Then put a bid in for Wilson palacios. A loan deal with view to pernament if we stay up. Then try and sign adomah from Bristol city he would cost about £1.5 m.

It's all down to who has the richest sugar daddy. Your American club doesn't have as much money as Manchesters American club or Saudi club. Liverpools American club has more money than you. At the end of the day you sold out to the wrong sugar daddy and now it falling apart you want a richer sugar daddy.......lol. You sold out now reap the benefits......enjoy. Soon enough the baggies will be the only club representing the midlands in the prem, you are going the way of Coventry

Believable2 Unbelievable2

And the point of your post mate ?
Go on, explain the point of it as opposed to the content of it.
Actually, don't bother. I doubt you are capable of knowing the difference

Agree1 Disagree0

Point is you sold out, and now it all going down the pan you lot can't handle it.......mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

The lerner trust that owns Aston villa is in fact richer than the other american owners in the premier league and has a valuie of somewhere between £4b - £10b

Agree0 Disagree0

Blokes obsessed with sugar

Agree1 Disagree0

Clearly you struggle to understand English but let's have another stab at it
My question is, why have actually bothered coming on here to state something that is effectively bogus. Aston Villa was sold by the previous owner to the current incumbent. The fans who you seem to suggest "sold out" could do nothing about it. So, I repeat. What is the point of you coming on this blog and babbling about a team that you obviously don't support ?
If you are going to post something personic, at least try posting it on the site of a team you support
