Come on guys don't get carried away. You have to be very deluded to think Aubameyang, Woods or Zaha will come to the Villa. Don't get your hopes up, we need experience not youth.

Amazed how many non villa fans comment on here. Are your own teams pages not gd enough for u.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

This is a banter page, you will always suffer abuse from Brum and West Brom fans when things are going bad for you, you will also suffer abuse from Norwich fans until Lambert is either successfull, or sacked....

Agree1 Disagree1

Better give up now then because Lambert has been successful, he has got rid of most of the deadwood, he has cut our wage bill, he has brought in some great signings - Benteke, Westwood, Vlaar, Lowton, Bennett and he has the young players playing good passing football. His brief probably wasn't a top six finish in his first season !

Aston Villa...laughing stock of the Midlands, thanks for taking Lambert from us, we have been left with a more tactically astute manager with years of Premiership experience. One season in the prem and Lambert is already out of ideas, other managers have worked him out. You get through more managers than Chelsea. Is it cold there, currently minus 21 with no look of improvement.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah we have had a bad couple of games but hardly a laughing stock with teams like the Toon and Fulham within one win above us in the table and also a Semi Final place in the Milk cup. Cant remember the team we out played in the quarters, seems I have a short memory. We are more or less are playing with a completely new team this season so it takes time to gel and most of us Villa fans know this and they are young so need time to develop. Even Chelski and Man Chitty with all the money spent on good established players at first didnt win the league first time round. We wont win the league but we will get better and might have a day out at Wembly too.

Isn't it about time these bitter Norwich fans put the PL incident behind them and concentrated on their own team.

PL chose to come to VP for the potential as much as the history - oh, and by the way we still managed a 36,000 plus crowd on a dismal Boxing Day when we were live on the TV, that's the kind of support several clubs in the Premiership would like.

Agree0 Disagree0

You were handed the semi final ticket as all part of the master plan, with 3points off the drop minus 21 goals Wigan on Saturday they will make a dramatic come back as always push you back in the bottom 3 Where as Norwich are 5 points off champions league place, No not saying we will end up there, but we have more chance of that than you staying up, all those ectra cup matches as well as F A cup next month,Lambert has been sussed, you will have to go down to build again,

Agree0 Disagree0

There was no master plan just sore losers

Agree0 Disagree0

Not bitter at all, quite happy actually, you have just paid us compensation for him, he has led you to consecutive 8-0 and 4-0 defeats, we are seven points better off than Villa, what's to be bitter about?

Agree0 Disagree0

And now 3-0 to add to those two previous brilliant performances. Now minus 24 at Villa Park.....very cold and in the bottom three when Soton get a point from their game in hand, happy new year :-)

C'mon Villa fans let's get behind PL and the team.

Yes, the last two performances have been poor, yes we need to sign a couple of decent experienced players early in the January window to temper the total reliance on youth and yes we need Vlarr back from injury to bring that calming influence when things don't go right.

That said, we have produced several good performances this season, Newcastle, Man U, Stoke, Liverpool to name a few and although we haven't always got the result we deserved if we can continue to produce perforamnces like these against the teams around us we should pick up more points than we drop. The next three home games are key to how we progress and I for one think we have enough to get the right results.

Realistically, it will take this team time to produce their full potential but with an average age of 23ish these players are nowhere near their prime but with the right signings in January and a few of the experienced players bringing their A game we will have enough to survive this season and go on to better things.

Well said mate. I totally agree. for long periods of time we outpassed swansea and arsenal, and not many teams have shown that. As u say with some good signings in jan we will almost definatly avoid the drop.

Agree2 Disagree2

The problem is lerner won't allow pl to sign experienced players because of the wages. all we'll get again is up and coming championship players.

Agree1 Disagree0

Thats the fans fault as well because you can't be bothered to turn up so the owner is not bothered to waste good money, Lets be honest, when Sky come to the match you fans stay at home, when the team is loseing you Boo and walk out before the end, If you were Lerner what would you do, I know if I were him I'd be looking to sell right now not buy in pre madona players who think they are bigger and better than the club,

It must be feeling very cold in Birmingham (Villa) right now I mean -21 the snow must be at least 10ft deep, Watched you try to play last night, Not very good are you at seeing the game out, by the time they got the 3rd goal your ground was empty, How long before the Lambert out banners come out. hope you hope you win the cpt 1 cup then go down and stay there to many games in europe on top of 46 lg games you won't come back for years

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Have a day off bluenose and tell us what its like in the 1st div when you play there next season.

Agree1 Disagree0

Im not a villa fan im a leeds fan but i have friends who are and personally i dont think the villa fans have anything to worry about with the quality in the squad.
its just a run of bad form an you are only at the halfway mark
i think theres certain teams in the premier league that dont have villas quality and that will show the 2nd half of the season when they drop down to the bottom....
keep ya chins up villa

would that help us

yes agree no disagree

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Chelsea have a lot of young players but they are quality, apart from Bentenke to be honest we have a bunch of championship players ,the only other player who would, might have made a difference is gardner but with a 2nd bad injury its bad luck Ireland, nog have very little skill and no passion so don't play then ,please sign some quality! not happy villa fan
