After dominating the first half and being extremely unluckly not to be at least two up at half time, we go in for half time and Mcleish has his say. We come back out and are a shadow of the team on the field 15 minutes earlier. What does this say about Mcleish's ability to motivate players ?

Let's stop talking about transfer targets and who is and isn't staying, after tonight's result no one of any quality will even consider Villa and we will be off loading the saleable assets in the summer after we have gone down. Mcleish and his sidekick have to be the first to go, and the sooner the better. His compensation package (more fool Faulkner & Lerner for agreeing one) is probably a fraction of the £40m plus he has cost the club this year. Now we can all see why the bluenoses were having a real laugh when he was appointed.

Agreed.... Championship footie next year for us - can't see where our next point is coming from. Teams below us are starting to get results against good opposition. Randy Lerner's a blue in disguise - mclaren turned us down so go for the next useless lump out there and actually pay for his useless services! Muppet! Well done mcginger you have led the villa to there worst ever home record in a 138 years you are officially the worst manager we have ever had. Totally agree, if Mcleish had a fraction of the passion the fans have for the club he would do the right thing and recognise that he ain't cut it (not for the first time) and retire to Scottish third division football. Even O'dreary won more home games !!

And whilst loyalty is a great attribute to have in a club the table does not lie regardless of which situation we are in,ASTON VILLA FC SHOULD FINISH IN THE TOP HALF NO MATTER WHAT!
But Under Mcleish we have drawn more then lost and then lost more then won
And this is strictley down to mcleish style of play.
Score a goal and sit back and try and hit them on the counter whilst full knowing our defence is rubbish!
You don't have a divine right to be finishing in the top 10, you are where you the table never lies your not good enough.
