Question - Should we sign Tom Cleverley on a permanent deal?
I would only sign him if his wages are at a reasonable level, if he wants 70k a week like was mooted when we looked at him last summer we should let him go elsewhere. Even if he's rubbish next season, he's a free agent so we should make enough off selling him to cover a years pay and make a little profit.

if he's after more then 40k i wouldn't bother, was one the worst players under lambert (not that we had any stand outs) started looking good for sherwood but again same as rest team i feel he was one the reasons we started to slump again, there is a reason he's known as "the crab" everything goes 5yrds sidewards

I see very little money for players coming from Lerner this summer. Why would he bother, he's selling. Sherwood will have to sell to buy. Same old. Same old.

If he is still the clubs custodian next season hopefully he will have realised that we survived due to 3 teams being worse than us and that finishing 17th, 2 points off the drop is cutting it too fine. Maybe we will get a little bit more to invest and maybe some extra off the cup run too.
I think your probably right BigC - Sherwood won't have much of a war chest to overhaul the squad. But look on the bright side, there are plenty of players that need selling anyway.

Apart from benteke can't see anyone would want to buy the rest, all poor players.
