i think we need a new centre back and a new centre midfield/centre defensive midfield. what do other people think and who have we been linked with to fill those positions?

Personally i think the young defenders like Baker and clark are doing well enough, would it make sense to spend money on a defender to sit on the bench? I do think we need a strong central midfielder to command the centre of the pitch, something we have never really had. But who could we get for a good price? i don't know.. i know Lambert is building a young squad but it would be good for us to have an experienced midfielder who can help the young players improve.

A friend from east anglia told me Lambert has had talks with Fox at Norwich a player he also had at Colchester.

Give us 4 million and he's villas

Got to be worth at least double that and can you honestly see Norwich doing any sort of deal with Villa,

At least double!!! So you value him nearer to 10 million? Get real. He's hardly played at all this season. No wonder football is spiralling out of control financially.

Fox is not villas standard of player. As for buying a CDM where would her fit in with us playing 3 CB one of which is Herd (capable of playing CDM) and playing westwood, bannan and holman in mid already.

Correct, he isn't Villa standard, he's a couple of levels above it
