Don't mean to be the barer of bad news people but Vydra will not be joining AVFC. PL knows he has to replace the potentially outgoing Benteke but he has no need to replace Bent. We have Wiemann, Gabby and Helenius for that, plus Bowery. That is the area he needs to find a gem in, CF, a man to replace our beloved Judas Benteke. In addition to this, a new right back as cover is required, expect something to happen almost immediately when Given, Bent and Ireland depart. As we all know, there is an AM on the radar too, still strong links with Kiyotake, when the money is available, and several others! Expect a big name signing for AM, but an unknown hidden gem for CF. ! #vtid #avfc

Thats not bad news for me, I hate vydra, signing him would be a massive step back in my opinion.

I think "hate" is a little strong. I reserve that emotion for far more deserving causes. However, I do agree that this would not be a dissappointment

Personally I think this whole idea of Player contracts and agents should be completely restructured.
I think if a player signs a 4 year deal he would have to honour 50% of that contract (2yrs) or pay to get out, if he stays he benefits so does his agent.

If he wants out before the 2yrs he will have too buy himself out, at 40% of the contract value

If he passes the 2yrs mark his agent is then paid a bonus for each year after that, say 10% per year.

I think this would help stabilise a lot of contract rebels.

Example 1: Benteke contract value £1,000,000
So at 40% he would have to pay £400,000 to get out, agent gets nothing, only the fee arranged with his player.

Example 2: Benteke contract value £1,000,000
His penalty clause lapsed so he can leave, but his agent now starts to earn an extra 10% per year ie £ 20,000 this might help.

This structure would obviously need tweeking but the basics would be as above.

Only an idea, but something needs to be done and soon.

If i'm happy she`s happy, and if she is happy then I am happy, she is happy that we are both happy, so being happy makes sense.
If that makes sense.

Joking apart, I love it and have found an outlet for my feelings and love for our club.

Your idea would revolutionise the whole transfer system. Fees would be reduced hugely as 2 years is all you could expect from any player. They could not totally go against contract law principles. As things stand anyone can buy themselves out of a contract and contracts must be honoured whilst in place. If a player did buy themselves out of a contract, they or their new employers may be sued by the ex club to re coup the transfer fee. Also the player would have to buy out his contract himself as a third party getting involved would be a real conflict of interest and bring themselves into dishonour - as such would lose any case brought against them.

I wish I had the money for a kindle fire Dave! Its hard enough to get her of so I can use the laptop so maybe its the way forward! The names Andy, from Bucks been going to VP since 1979 and using this site for a few years but like I said much better since you, Mendax & Leroy appeared! {Ed001's Note - she makes you satisfy her sexually before you are allowed to use the laptop?}
