is paul lambert still the worst manager villa have had?, from the clean sheets, character shown, add the superb performances, especially from senderos, and the confidence it has brought to the rest of the side can only bode well bring on the gooners let's make villa park bounce the way it did in'81'.

Still not PL fan but if it was his idea to bring in RK, brill .as I think he's responsible ,being on the training field, also only Westwood left in the team from those rubbish buys from the previous 2 seasons

Great show by the lads today.
I love the fact that we have gone from a team of lightweights to a team who can bully other teams
Not always pretty and we still need another couple of players but this has been a great start
Mendex, all summer you were concerned about the signings we were bringing in, good to see your comeing around to the fact we have a pretty good squad
Still think the squad has some glaring deficiencies Mick. Just happy with the start.
We need a wide player with pace, back up at fullback, an attacking midfield player or two and another striker.
