Iv heard from a very reliable source that it is a loan deal with a loan free with option to buy if west ham do not get promoted to the PL next season

very hard to admit but we have to face fact, we are not going to be able to replace our big out goings, there is a reason why these players have left for the fees they went for we are no longer challenging for europe or big name players, think we need to rebuild completely and try to blood some youth really can't see eck lasting or bent staying even if not now january, can't see given coming and talk of defoe, kalou is insane why would they come here? can see hammer coming back and possible parker (LOAN) and few squad plyers but that's as biggest were going to do, there is some severe underlying problems here behind closed doors, we need these yanks out, very worried for 11-12 season.

villa will come out of this exodus of players stronger, 2 good signings that oneil made have gone we just need to clear out the deadwood like those released at the begining of the season. We have quality coming through like delfouenso he will be just as good if not better than sturridge once he finds his feet, marc albrighton another quality youngster that will want to make a stamp on the first team, hes better than what young was when he arrived from watford. Barry bannan, cairan clarke fabian delph. . And a few others will be making the step up so atleast we have back up and bent has speaken highly of all these youngsters. We just need a few new signings to help these youngsters intergrate into the team properly. Youngsters bring more pace and stamina. .
You think delfonso is better than sturridge are you mad and he could never be considered for a starting spot yet.squad player at best, can't believe you think we will come out stronger.HOW??
Maybe not but Deflounso has a better eye on goal than Gabby does and as the above post says given time he can be as good as Sturridge

to the person that called me a mug and saying that bent will leave in january, i ask you the question who will pay the money to take bent away from the villa, carnt see anybody paying the 28Mill clause in his contract, so realisticly villa are the one that pay his wages, villa won't be letting him go because he will be the only real shirt seller cuz i know people aint guna pay 50 quid for a shirt with the likes of makoun or petrov on the back of it are they you doughnut. Take a look on avfc for yourself and you will see the bent interview, so go give your head a wobble.

getting tired of stupid rumours on here, most of chat is taken direct from papers unless people have some genuine info then shut f==k up, all this is getting boring. ed sort them out, , , facts 10 players released, friedel gone, young sold at which were told the money raised from sale is offset against purchase of bent which is ridiculous as we had 18 mill left from milner sale, now downing off for 20 mill, AVFC feeder club sell all our best players, and big eck left to feed off scraps, with sales of the last 2, 40mill should have been generated to recruit new players be lucky if eck gets half of that, I personally was against his appointment however you have to give him chance, I for one will not give him grief now if we fail as Randy and his fools Faulkner and Krulak are setting eck up for a fall and leaning towards putting our club on a major downward spiral. unless they show the same determination in backing the manager as they showed in appointing him we have a few hard seasons ahead.

Bellamy, Defoe, N'Zogbia and Parker should all be realistic targets. I would love us to get Milner back but can't see it happening. Given deal dragging on abit now getting a bit worried about that as was supposed to be done before last weekend. Also, Kalou would be a great signing. He always seems to score goals.

This had me rolling with laughter, Davis too good for Villa ?. are you forgetting we're the club that bombed him out because he was s**t in the premier league. Then Fulham took him and he flopped under Sanchez. Then he goes to the spl and play's decent against teams which would struggle in the English League 1.

On the positive side there is now £36m in the pot, on the negative side will RL & AM spend this money on players of quality (let's remember such players are costly) or, much as it pains me to say, are Villa and Villa fans set to endure a dismal season ? Come on let's see an end to the exodus of our best players and now see an influx of players of the correct calibre to replace our losses. SOONER rather than LATER

I guess you must know something they don't {Ed007's Note - SSN have been wrong on numerous occasions, the information came direct from the player himself. I would imagine he would know more about the deal than SSN}
I would say the Ed's are wrong more times than SSN ;) {Ed001's Note - if you like but SSN are the ones reporting the Boateng to Bayern is done according to their 'sources', while everyone else knows it is on Bayern's website as an official statement. SSN lie consistently to make a story, they said Henderson cost Liverpool over 20m, that is completely wrong as the fee is 15.6m + future add ons. They also say Phil Jones cost around 16m when United themselves said the deal is over 20m. So you can carry on believing a company that makes their money out of making up stories to get you to bet on their betting arm or you can listen to people that actually take the time to find out and will say if they don't know. Villa have at least 38m to rebuild the team. 20 from Downing and 18 from Young. We should sign Given for around 4m, then N'Zogbia for 10-15m, Parker would be available for around 8m, Hutton would be close to 5m, Verhoek for 5-7m, and the rest on a striker such as Kalou, Bendtner, Defoe or Rodallega.

am seeing a complete rebuilding of squad but don't think mcleish will be given time, not looking good for season coming, worried about the whole state of the club to be honest, it is not coincidence that all our big players are leaving. Something behind the scenes is not right
Totally amazed that the downing transfer has gone through within hours pending a medical but the given transfer saga is still going on and on and on
