I know I'm a villa fan and this is a villa forum but I don't think I have seen a ST decline as much as gabby(except maybe torres). gabby hit 45 BPL goals in 4 seasons which I know isn't amazing but that is good if you ask me- I know he is considered a legend at our club cause of his roots and coming through the academy but he hasn't been good enough and want to see him replaced - I know he is quick but with the ball he is erotic and slows down the general play.
thoughts????

Gabby time at villa coming to an end. Doesn't suit the play. And doesn't speak French like the rest of the team lol

There are probably specialist sites for people who think Gabby is "erotic" but I don't think this is one of them mate.

Few chances if any against Man U, personally Amavi yet again great atleast 2 crosses were class if only Gestede was on pitch at that time, (capt) need to sort def set pieces better as we would have been punished big time if they were on there game, but bacuna haters he had really good game I think, ayew struggled in match, Westwood was okay and gueye broke up a lot and looks better and better, we need grealish ASAP and bring on the barca signing but overall although Man U tho off game we gave them a a hard physical game but we ran out of steam and it's not been along time personally we been able to push UTD physically, we will get better and better just need creativity and we will have number of options soon IMO

Thought amavi was incredible. Richards hates united. Showed that tonight. Gabby needs to be gone ASAP. Was in a bar in Lanzarote watching tonight's match surrounded by mancs. If Traore had lead the line who knows what result may have been.

Adama takes number 20. Now, not to get bogged down with squad numbers again BUT from what I've read Traore is very self-confident/ a little egotistical. I think he'll be a great player, but that leads me to believe, if he'd have had the choice he'd have taken 10 over 20. so is TS holding onto it for another, more established signing?

There will be another striker and defender come in yet so I'd say the number 10 will go to the striker. We have a bid on the table for diao from lazio and I'm hearing ts is looking at babacar and embolo as well as options.

Great signing said a few weeks ago he is a real talent glad we have him on five year contract he's better than stokes signing shaqliria we just need a striker because we only got big rudi n kozak everyobe says wr need a rightback on this site we don't bacunas quality reminds me of danny alves he's going to be good

Agreed. I think we are ok at RB. We have Bacuna,Hutton, Richards and Crespo uf needed.

So pleased we have Traore. We can now actually play 4-3-3 the way it should be played, with 2 goal scoring wingers rather than 2 forwards played as wingers
My Line up would be :

Guzan
Hutton Richards Clark Amavi
Gueye Veretout Westwood
Adama Gested Sinclair

At home we could go even more attacking and have Gil or Grealish in place of Westwood. This is of course assuming we don't sign any more quality players before the 28th.
