Cole and Ferdinand would be good and provide us with some experience and proven winners in the dressing room.
Bigdog.

Yes sure why don't we just get back the bomb squad, they are old now and would want a massive pay day

Ferdinand! Aaahhahah good joke! Once great, but his time is over.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you serious or what? We can't pay big wages as it is. And you think we would be able to pay the likes of Ferdinand an cole. Now that's funny!

From a business point it would not be best to put the club in limbo so I feel the deal has been done.
We need huge investment into players and a exciting manager, someone young or someone like rafa Benitez who can attract some player.
Lambert is clueless, I have watched every game and he has limited ability

It's obvious that we need improving, whoever is in charge will need to buy quick get the squad together and gel them, out of our whole squad I would keep:

Guzan, Steer

Lowton, Vlaar, Okore

Delph, Westwood, bacuna, nzogbia, albrighton

Benteke, Weiman, gabby

We need at least 3 defenders 2 midfielders and 1 striker, realistic targets that wouldn't be too costly, defenders - Bertrand, caulker, naughton
Midfielders - holtby, Parker
Forwards - deeney

Very realistic targets wouldn't cost to much and accept deeney they are all proven prem players and deeney is same type of benteke strong powerful good finisher and would hack the prem! What you think?
Starting line up first game next season:
Guzan
Lowton okore caulker Bertrand
Delph Parker Westwood
Holtby
Benteke deeney
Subs: gabby Weiman Vlaar grealish bacuna nzogbia?
What ya think?

I very much disagree with you. I think that most of the Villa squad needs improving. So, players like Guzan, Bennett, Delph, Westwood, El Ahmadi, Tonev, Bowery, Bent, N'Zogbia have all been very bad the last couple of seasons, and they should be sold as soon as possible. Villa needs to be bringing in players like Ljalic, Strootman and Odjidja-Ofoe to name a few. Aim higher, mate.

Guzan has been Villas best player the past two seasons. If it weren't for him we certainly would've been down, no chance he should leave, he's a legend

Benteke doesn't want to play for Villa, so there is barely any good reason in trying to keep him. It's better if he is sold in the January transfer window. Villa can bring in other quality strikers, who wants to play for the club.
Holt and Bertrand must go back to their clubs, they are not good enough for Villa. We have seen that this season.
And as for Guzan, how can you rate him as Villa's best player the last two seasons. He has been very poor, making at least one or two mistakes every other game. I really believe that Villa would have done better with Given as their first choice keeper.

Agree0 Disagree0

You've mentioned delph as well as a player to be rid of. Seriously do you even know your own team? Improved remarkably this season, just needs to touch up his passing and he'll be a class act. And I stand by what I said regarding Guzan, and I'm sure nearly every real Villa fan would agree with me on that. Joe Hart made more than his fair share of mistakes this season, yet is still Cities and England's no. 1. Also with a back line like Villas, you're going to be put to the test more than the average keeper in the league.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Delph is a proper player don't sell this guy with better players around him he will be an England regular

I know that we all want this sorted ASAP but let's be realistic we aren't going to be sold straight away. Yes, there is rumours flying around everywhere but we aren't going to know what will happen. We will most likely hear of a done deal during the middle of June to the middle of July. Even if an offer is on the table they won't confirm it yet and just want to keep us in the dark. Any deal won't be completed until after the World Cup so don't get your hopes up that it is going to be completed tomorrow or next week as some of you think.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

In what way does the world cup affect a club being sold?

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't mean it like that I meant like the timeframe.

Agree0 Disagree0

If nobody is lined up or has at least been sounded out, I think we could be in big trouble.
If Randy thinks he can sell the club in 4-6 weeks from a standing start I think he will be disappointed.
Let's hope it's not the case
