THAT team is s--t poor Pl why don't the most gifted player on the books Gary Gardner even make the bench makes me feel sick

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I swear you actually are Gary Gardner

Agree0 Disagree0

So you don't think Gardner is better than Westwood kea Bacona Styla do you understand what the midfield do? if true holt a great buy lol championship here we come

Agree0 Disagree0

If you watch Gary Gardner's form in the reserves hasn't been that either. Need to sign a few midfielders before the window closes

Agree0 Disagree0

Gardner knows he's better than the s---t midfield and when some one no's he's better than the manager pets and continues to be over looked what chance do you have, PL has lost it Holt old and can't play same as the rest of PL buys, like his young and hungry, huff football Don't blame Lerner add the money PL has spent

Agree0 Disagree0

It is not the transfer money that you need to add up, it is the amount of money that the players are demanding. Lerner will not sanction ridiculous contacts hence PL needing to shop cheap.
It is a bit like grocery shopping, W------ offer the best but we can only afford S---------- or T-----.
But if we look further we find what we want in A----, L----, etc just a bit cheaper.
Thats where PL is having to shop.
Scrooge is not giving PL enough housekeeping.
Lerner out

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think any other manager in the prem would take grant holt even paying no wages. After reading PF comments in the mail. PL and PF have a lot in common talk complete rubbish and kiss RL back-----e

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see gary gardner becoming the next cahill we ship him out and he gets game time and proves how good he is

Dont know if I am happy or sad but I can't get to VP tonight as I live over 200 miles away.
My fervent hope is that they give a good account of themselves, Big Ben proves he still cares and they show passion and desire.
A win would lift us away from the bottom half and might inspire the team.
However a win would give Scrooge an opportunity to say we don't need additions to the team.

C'MON YOU LIONS!!

Lets all face it, the staff a villa park who have the job of getting new players in have probably been told to phone around clubs and ask if they have anybody available for 1 million or less. because scrooge won't pay any more than that. so chances of us getting anyone in is zilch.

Charlie Adam is targeted by Galatasory,
would he suit our cause? Good going forward, hard in the tackle.
Just what we need, but could he be the man.
Simple comments.

Hi all.
see below something I have seen on one website, typical.

Just days after former Aston Villa striker John Carew recommended Stefan Marius Johansen to the club, he is reportedly close to a deal with Celtic.

Last week, former Aston Villa striker John Carew pointed his old team in the direction of one of Norway’s brightest stars.
Telling Paul Lambert’s side that they would be wise to cast an eye over Stromsgodset midfielder Stefan Marius Johansen, Carew called the player a “Duracell rabbit with tekkers”, and said he would be a good addition to the current Villans’ squad.

Reports at the same time suggested Celtic were interested in the 23-year-old, so if Villa were going to take their former striker’s advice, they may have had to move quickly.

But the latest reports from Norway claim Johansen is set for talks with the Scottish side having left his national team’s training camp in Abu Dhabi.

STV Sport has published the Norwegian Football Federation’s statement that Johansen had withdrawn from the training camp and was “in final negotiations with a club”.

Which club that may be is not certain, but quotes in the same story from Celtic boss Neil Lennon confirmed his side had been in talks with the player and was hopeful a deal could be finalised shortly.

With Johansen seemingly on his way, it appears Carew’s recommendation was too late for Lambert, but Celtic may be signing a player of real promise for potentially a bargain fee.

Looks like another tip cast aside by our management and board, they really are bloody thick at VP
