Even though we are playing shocking now I believe that we aren't going to go down. Norwich, Sunderland, Cardiff and maybe even Fulham have a lot of difficult games left to play which they are going to struggle to win to stay up. On the other hand we have easier games which we are making a complete utter mess out of them. I see getting valuable points against Hull and Swansea.

I said exactly the same last week mate.
I thought we had easy games against Fulham and Palace, its utter rubbish, we are just unable to predict anything with this shower.

We are creating the chances it's just that we can't finish them off. The Swansea game will be very important because they are also struggling. Hopefully we might get a surprise win knowing us it will be against Man City or Fulham.

Lambert inherited a poor side and has not been able to improve them in 2 years (no doubt, it's a hard job)
Pulis inherited a poor side, cut adrift at the foot of the table and has made them better than us in 4 months.
Forget Lerner, I want him gone too, but Lambert has got to be sacked whatever happens

Who is there to take over as manager? We don't want a championship rated manager coming in.

Agree with mendax

Glen Hoddle, said al along

We already have a Championship manager mate
If we cannot, as a club, find a half decent manager somewhere in a world dominated by football, we may as well pack up and go home

Agree0 Disagree0

The chance of finding a decent manager that wants to come to a struggling premier league club are very slim. Unless we get a new owner with loads of money we won't be able to find a better rated manager than Lambert to come in.

Agree0 Disagree0

If that were true, then we are knackered. We may as well accept relegation, be it this year or next

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry to labour the point mate but you seemed to be worried that if we are not careful we might end up with an awful manager. We already have that.
We play the worst football I have seen for many a year
We have the worst home record the club has ever seen in it's history
Lambert's buys have been largely poor
We have nothing coming through from the youth side other than at centreback;a position where experienced is required more than in any position on the field. A shocking piece of judgement on Lambert's part
We do have "concrete Ron" of course but nobody mentioned when we bought him that they were talking about concrete that had not set
I could go on but it will become boring. Assuming it hasn't already
I'm off for a lie down!

Agree0 Disagree0

Most players when asked said Hoddle was the best manager for tactics and always wanted entertaining football these were internationals players

Mendax we are playing shockingly at home but it's the fans who are one week fully behind Chelsea because we have won. Then within two weeks they want him out because we lost a game. Some fans just need to make there minds up. There is good managers out there but they will want big wages something that we struggle to afford. Also we do have some quality youngsters coming though but aren't being used because they are out on loan but I don't know why Gary Gardner isn't playing.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't disagree about the Chelsea result and the reaction that greeted it.
I tend to look at the season, or in Lambert's case, seasons as a whole
We probably are not going to agree on Lambert mate but it does seem like we seem to have stumbled into agreement on a few other things
Take it easy

Well. that's depressing.

Im not going to jump on the bandwagon and start shouting from the roof tops that Lerner Lambert an co need to tent off.

But one things for sure, in the summer things need to start happening.
Either Lerner starts to actively look to sell the club Or he needs to up the wage budget that allows us to go get the quality/experienced players we need.

I'm of the opinion that in the long term having the same manager at times like this will make us stronger and give us a better foundation.

But it goes without saying, it's hard to stay positive at times like this.

Knowing the club is back in the black financially gives me hope that in the summer we will finally see a better quality of player arriving at VP.

After 2 years of utter rubbish and breaking every record for the wrong reason the only thing PL should have is his P45 villajk
