A bid has been received of 17.5 and accepted rising to 20 if liverpool qualify for champions league. He was given permission to speak to liverpool last week so personal terms have already been argeed.

Alex McLeish plans to unveil Irish keeper Shay Given later this week - as the first of four major summer arrivals at Aston Villa. In addition to the Man City stopper, 35, Villa are closing in on deals for West Ham playmaker Scott Parker, 30, Wigan's French winger Charles N'Zogbia, 25, and Liverpool outcast Milan Jovanovic, 30. In total that quartet will cost the best part of £25million - and news of a significant spending spree will come as a huge relief to Villa fans.
This is straight fromt he sunday paper although i hope Villa don't buy Parker 30 and Jovanovic 30.
At 30 how long are going to be able to take the pace of the prem.

Parker was named the best player in the whole of the premier league last season; of course he can withstand the pace of the premier league. Plus Hitzlsburger is only one year younger than parker and anyways he's took time away from the prem

I meant Jenas as replacement for Parker as i honestly don't feel he's any good And Jenas is in his prime could sign for 5 years were as Parker could only do 2 3 at best
