Went to the crystal palace game, only to find someone sitting in my seat that i have got a season ticket for and have had for over 30 years, told the occupant he had my seat and showed him my season card, suggested he should contact a steward and explain, within 5 mins he came back with a steward who told me i would have to vacate my seat and allow the guy to have it, because the club policy is that etickets have priority over season tickets, i was involved with a senior steward and the police but had my card taken off me by the steward and was told i could collect from the ticket office on monday, however the police were in agreement with me and i refused to move and stayed in my seat, i contacted avfc complaints, and eventually got a reply from the ticketing supervisor, who confirmed that it is club policy that etickets do have priority over season tickets, i told him that their policy is obviously wrong and supporters who pay their money up front should clearly be given priority, and should be amended immediately. I was offered a goodwill gesture of a free game in the europa qualifying stage or free entry to the 1874 lounge at a league game of my choice, i declined and told them to donate it to charity.i was not looking for compensation, but loyalty to season ticket holders who show loyalty to the club

Did take it up with the club, the result is printed within the post i submitted, perhaps the supporters group should be informed incase anyone else suffers the same situation.it certainly is outrageous and does nothing to enhance club/supporter loyalty.
