Anybody else fed up of Steve Gibson at Middlesboro banging on about AVFC and fair play?
I have just checked back to when Boro were last promoted in 15/ 16 and in the 3 years up to promotion they overspent on transfers by £31m. I know that doesn’t mean they breached the rules but if you consider that there average attendance over the 3 years up until 15/ 16 when they were promoted was 19979, and they also didn’t have any parachute payments to fall back on it must have been very tight.

He’s just making excuses for his own incompetence.
I wish he would just disappear down the plug hole.
If I see his name mentioned I don’t bother reading the article.
