Season over now this team needs to be replaced with youngsters apart from mginn its awfull carry on good work deano you doing a great job, somethings not right at villa, you don't play like we did in his first 8 games, and too play like total crap now, i see no improvement in the team at all in fact its worse than under bruce and that's saying something, this villa teams going to be stuck in this league for along time i'm afraid, we are a 3 man team jck mginn tammy, and 2 of them will be gone nxt season and if we carry on playing like we are the manager will be gone aswell.

Smith doing a great job? 2 wins in 13, team has no idea just like Bruce! Bruce got sacked for less. They coming off like they did in Paul lamberts last few games with us and we had no clue.

Can't help but agree, I would love Dean to succeed at Villa but it seems the weight of expectation may be getting the better of him, managing Brentford is a whole different thing to managing Villa, I hope he is given preseason and a good go at next season though, but it will have to change massively, cause at the moment it really is worse than what we were seeing before.

We've tried to do a quick fix to get promoted and it's failed twice. k It is time for 2 - 3 year plan. No short term fixes. Start the rebuild in the summer.
You're right about Jack and Tammy. Need to plan without them.
This is a worst season yet in the Championship and it could get worse.
Sorry to be a doom monger but this us as bad as it's been for almost 50 years.
We'll be back but it will be a long struggle over many years.

Villa4eva, mate you have been mocked and ridiculed sadly you were right all along, the jobs obviously to big for him. let's stick with him though, once we get rid of all the average players which is 90% of the starters tonight we can judge him fairly. This is obviously a 2-3 year project so let's all get used to performances like Saturday and tonite. I would love to know our wage bill versus Brentford, my guess would be we are probably 70% higher. This season is a right off let's play younger fitter hungrier players and we are safe enough to do that. So a message to Dean restore your credibility as a coach while your can, carry on doing what you are doing and you won't last, your future is in your own hands act now. Footnote please do not play elmo, adhoma, hourihane in the future they are not even in the average category.
