Rolan 17 goals in 61 apps no ta!
(Could be proven wrong, who really knew what CB was capable of but would much rather see us go for Austin and yes though an unpopular choice feel like adebyor has something to offer)

Rolan for me is a big gamble if we paying over 10 mil. He has had one half good season in the french league. Ok all young players have to start somewhere. He could go on to be a big ben or a Dwight Yorke. Then again he could be a bosko balaban or a savo. Austin for me is the safe bet if we spending over 10 mil.

His goal/ratio is pretty irrelevant as last season was his first playing as a striker and he scored 15 of those. But agree it would be a big gamble

Most players come with an element of risk, be it goal ratio or premier league experience and many are signed that have potential only to turn out a flop. The Villa squad at the moment is finally balanced between premier league status and relegation so the importance of getting it right could carry consequences leading to the un-thinkable. So spend wisely Tim and choose your players with great care, we all have opinions on certain players but ultimately the choice lies with yourself.
