I just hope TS has a plan because we need some signings now. We had a small squad anyway. With everyone that has left. granted most of them 'deadwood' our wage bill must be minimal now.

Haha. in all fairness most of them was only there because of the situation villa was in. An still are in. Trying to cut the wage bill etc. When I say deadwood might sound abit harsh. but most of the player we have sold didn't do enough. so yeah surplus to requirement. I think TS is doing the right thing. We need build a whole new structure!

I can see where your coming from Fordy and I don't think that the term you used was intended to be disrespectful. It's a term that is pretty well known in it's meaning, at least where I'm from.

"Dead Wood"
people in a group or organization who are not useful any more and who need to be removed.

Since the players we used last year only just kept us up I suppose your right in saying that many of them are not useful anymore.
