Emery, the players and the winning team have been put together by the owners and financed by them.

Let’s get real here, I as a fan since the early 70’s will be disgusted if a so called fans petty protest against the price of success and progress pisses the owners off.

If local fans think the little old local Villa supported by local fans only can have a regular seat in the top 4 and Champions League, then they are deluded.

Have the club made PR mistakes, 100% yes can fans match-day experience be improved, yes.

The biggest mistake is going to be made this weekend by idiotic fans who are short sighted for their own self gain in this period where demand has increased due to club popularity.

Villa have been sailing close to PSR guidelines to put the best team on the pitch and self generated revenue is the only way to close the gap to Liverpool and others.

Sadly it seems a certain element of fan wants lower prices for past loyalty but then expect the team and the club to maintain is current progress path.

Football loyalty has changed and clubs are going global to extend their fan bases and this honest fact is clear and this hurts the local loyal fan.

A tourist fan will generate more revenue in one club trip than the regular season ticket holder would generate over an entire season.
THE TRUTH HURTS!

This is happening at other clubs for years and we can either pay up and enjoy the success story on the pitch or we can regress to being g a local club that exists between the PL and EFL that will never win sweet FA

The PL is a global product with football fans from all over the world in lord in and if you are happy for them to support the big 6 and leave us financially incompetent as a result then that is sad.

Nicely put Daz.
I was 9 when I was taken to my first Villa match in 1959 and have had a roller coaster trip watching them in all the top 3 divisions since then
It is quite obvious to me that we have to generate a lot more money to make further progress if we want European football on a more regular basis.
Our owners have been fantastic up to now and we as Villa fans need to back them all the way.

This is the most single rubbish statement I have ever read on here. Think of numbers and realise how stupid this is. Season ticket holder in Trinity with travel, lunch drinks could easily spend, £2000 over a season. A tourist could take a flight a hotel a three course lunch and a ticket for two to get anywhere near this. It's right to debate, have personal views be passionate about these, however please don't make up fiction to argue your point.

Trying to lambast again Scott?
I will give you a perfect example of a one trip fan.My cousin came over from Australia last season and attended 3 games and also a under 21 game. With flights, Hotel, Tickets, Merchandise, Food, Drink, Taxis and so on spent in excess of £3000 and that is in onetrip so before you try to lambast me read the post properly. And before you come back with another one of your posts just remember how ridiculous some of your posts are infact some other posters don't even interact with your posts because all you do is moan moan moan!

One silly example, ask 30,000 season ticket holders to get a representative sample. I have voiced an opinion just like you.Its a debating forum and fans will rarely agree, I will always accept criticism if it is sensible in your case it's often personal.

One silly example? Facts Scott Facts.Don't worry Scott you hold up that Red card on Saturday and see what response you get from the majority of Villa fans. Its simple there are 20,000 plus Villa fans on the waiting list ready to jump in anyone's shoes who choose to give up their season ticket. As soon as the season starts you have to moan about something if it was black you would moan it was to Black!

Gotta agree with Daz on this 1, only got to see the shenanigans with the Oasis tickets, if you want it bad enough you’ll pay for it, it’s 4 games, would cost less than a ticket to see 1 of the Oasis gigs ??‍♂️
