Chambers Nakamba and Buendia should be in the team, I really am starting to doubt Gerrards team selections, i hope i am wrong but i can't see anything but a Leicester win, just hope I'm way off the mark, more than happy to eat humble pie on here later.

Nice to see Marv back in the team, didn’t ever expect he’d start after just coming back but glad he got some minutes and hopefully with training between now and then he can start against Norwich!

Pretty poor game in general, but if we can’t put our chances away when we do make them, we are never going to win many games. At least we kept a clean sheet and didn’t make it another loss on the bounce, not many other positives other than that though!

More Leicester handing us a clean sheet. We tried several times to give it away.
Somehow Leicester were worse than our home match against them and we still managed to draw rather than win by trying to play a game we can't play.
How many times does Buendia have to have an effect before he gets a start? It's criminal he stays benched when we've consistently been better when he's come on.

Rk agree about Buendia, Bailey yet again was poor, I said it before the game and repeat it afterwards team selection is poor. The cynic in me thinks Gerrard knows we are safe and is pushing the owners for a massive clear out citing the current squad as the reason we are towards the bottom of the league. Watched the game and yet again another lacklustre performance.

Bailey started poor but overall I think he had more of an effect than Coutinho to be honest.
Nobody was great. Watkins tried hard but annoying that he slipped twice after doing the hard work. Doug did OK before his substitution and Mings was fairly solid considering the shambles around him.

Well yeah, but at least it stopped the rot so to speak.

SG answered the question about Buendia after the game apparently he was carrying a knock that’s why he didn’t start, I think the stuff about Bailey training well was pointless though cause he offered absolutely zero the whole game. I’m sure his step dad will find someone else to blame on Twitter during the week though.

I think with Bailey it may be a case of giving him enough rope to hang himself.
For me this may be a tactic of exploiting the players that are not up to standard, a message to the owners that the summer investment wasn't up to scratch?
Watched the game today and Leicester seemed to have an eye on their semi final for the majority and we looked out of ideas.
Gerrard has to be allowed time to do things his way and recruit his own players.
As talented as coutinho is I don't think he wants to be at the club anymore and if that's the case we need to leave that deal well alone.
I think Gerrard wants us to play a certain way, progressive and aggressive passing and decision making and the most the lads just can't do it.
Keep the faith let the season play itself out and let's judge him after a pre season and a window with players he wants.
Agreed it's a bad watch right now and results aren't great again but after the start we had let's just regroup and go again.

Dan a balanced view, agree with most of your points and i do think Gerrard is sending a message to the owners about the quality of the squad, of course we have to give him time, however we should be able to vent our frustrations, which at the moment are totally justified in my opinion.
