Not football related but would welcome comments.

This morning listening to the news that Russia had bombed a convoy of refugees once again. I mentioned to my wife that I wondered if Putin would behave the same if his family were in Ukraine?

I said, tongue in cheek, should the Ukrainians kidnap Putin's mistress and 4 kids from Switzerland where they were moved by Putin and take them to Ukraine and spread them around.

My wife called me evil for having these thoughts.

Is it evil to have these thoughts or is it quite normal to wish evil, when 1 person can cause so much unnecessary pain and suffering on a complete and friendly country?

Alright, pluffy, I'll be honest with you. Yes, it is evil to have those thoughts. It may be quite normal to wish evil, but it's still wrong. It's a mortal sin, objectively speaking. Even thoughts are as bad as actions.

Well UTVBOYS if you apply that principle why are we sanctioning Russia because it’s not Putin who suffers it’s the ordinary Russian, sometimes you have to stand up to a person like Putin, and very regrettably innocents end up as collateral damage. You only need to look at relatively recent history to see what happens if you appease a tyrant, if Europe had stood up to Hitler in 1936/7 WW2 would not have happened.

I don’t agree with what’s happening to the Russian people in the uk. Some of them who have connections with him and fund his pockets should but not normal Russian people
