I love all the journalistic bull that comes out from time to time, so now we have John Percy who says the deal to sign Coutinho is complex in that we are only paying 25% of his wages and he would have to take a significant cut in salary if he were to join us. However Gregg Evans says we are paying 75 % of his salary and a wage package for his permanent signing has already been agreed. Both can't be right. Given Coutinho's Barcelona salary is circa £400,000 per week I am more inclined to agree with Percy's assessment however it just goes to show journalists will pretty much say anything for a story.
