It doesn't matter what they spend with Eddie Howe in charge, he could have the City squad and make them a mid table team.
Just like with us, it will take them 2-3 years of spending that sort of money to start getting players worth it. The advantage we have is that we sorted out the decision makers first who focused on younger players with resale value whereas Newcastle have whacked a chunk of it at 3 players who might save them but won't recoup a penny down the line.
