Im certain it will happen sometime in the future, will we read in the papers "Guardiola ruined my career".

Its a mixture of sidelines, either he is benched or stuck out on the left wing and told to pass and don't take anyone on. Of course he "made his own bed and must lie on it". But i genuinely feel sorry for Jack, everyone has the right to better themselves and we all saw the talent, unfortunately it looks as though the dream move isn't working out. Guaranteed £45 million in the bank is a lifetime of financial security however, Jack needs to be playing regularly to showcase his undoubted talents. I have heard it said many times, going back to your home club rarely works, that may be so, however i would welcome him back with open arms tomorrow and i understand one of our owners feels the same, time will tell if its meant to happen.

We should test the waters and offer 50 million for his return.

Injury prone, off field antics, you can't build a team round that. If he came back next season would he expect to be centre of attention again, to the detriment of the rest of the squad?

I was sorry he left, I genuinely believed he wouldn't. In hindsight he was in the perfect place for him, but he couldn't see it. If he had stayed there could have been statues, but instead he gets trophies that he contributed to, slightly.

I do feel sorry for him, but he engineered the move, and would have gone to Man United, and even Spurs earlier if he could have. Aston Villa got the best of the deal, £100m, and we have moved on. I for one do not want too see him in Villa shirt again, though I do wish him well. He will at least get the trophies and Champions League football he craved so badly.

I’m with you 56 I didn’t want him to go but now he has we acknowledge what he had done for our club but we move on, we don’t bring him back that would be a retrograde step and returns never really work anyway, remember Andy Gray.

I’ve slagged Grealish off more than anyone since he left but I’d have him back in a heartbeat
