Having watched the game yesterday and had some time to reflect, 6 games in I would suggest points wise we are there or there abouts in terms of actual versus expected points but bearing in mind in the minds of the pundits/ journalists we were a one man team, I think our transition in terms of life without Grealish has shown we are much more than that. We have a much stronger squad with plenty of options all over the pitch, we can rotate systems 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, 5-3-2, 3-5-2 or even 4-4-2 which we couldn't do last year and the continued progress of the kids all bodes really well I think other than Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool we are as good as anything else in the league and based on what I have seen thus far I think ourselves and West Ham are the two sides who will compete for top six places rather than the likes of Spurs and Arsenal.

Oh and by the way it's nice to see that the spirit of Alex Ferguson is alive and well in the halls of Old Trafford. Solskjaer is another in a long line of managers who thinks Utd have a divine right to win every game and any defeat is based on failures of officialdom rather than the skills of the opponent.

“There or there abouts” still gives me shivers?.

Beating them 1 nil was quiet satisfying but the icing on the cake was them getting their usual penalty against us and bottling it, I still can’t believe Martinez antics, bloody legend, imagine being in injury time, win on the line and your heckling 1 of the top 2 footballers of the modern era to take the shot just to get under another guys skin, I’ve watched it over and over it’s priceless.
it was as satisfying as destroying Liverpool last year and all my united supporting friends have admitted the better team won and if they had scored the peno it would of being an injustice.

Yesterday United attempted a total of 28 shots at Martinez's goal without scoring. That's the most they have attempted in a home Premier League game without scoring since October 2016. What a legend ??.

I think I read we blocked 20+ shots yesterday, proper committed performance.

Yes to be fair our defence done a lot of work and put bodies on the line, looking at the stats on sky sports app you might get the impression that they were all over us but most of those shots never made it into the 6 yard box, proper performance.
Roll on spurs I can’t wait, if we perform like the last few games we will smash them?.

It was an awful weekend for Sky, first their darlings of the Premier League lose at home after them making it all about Ronaldo who I presume has now been released from Kortney Hause's pocket and then the golden goose Antony Joshua fails to turn up for a title defence and is beaten up by a light heavyweight. That really has got to sting.

Probably suits Sky to be honest Alsager, doubt Joshua was ever going to renew with Sky. Now he leaves with his stock lower than ever.
